NYC. My second love. Whenever I go to the city I feel more and more at home. I like to do things and go places like the natives would. There are also times I also like to do the “tourist” things. I was offered an opportunity to see all of the places that were in my all time favorite show~ Sex and the City. On Location Tours invited me to come to the city and enjoy one of their tours. Clearly I jumped at the chance to live the life like my favorite ladies.
You’ll embark on a beautiful coach bus that you will pick up in front of The Plaza. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours. Sounds like a long time, but when you read about what you’ll see and do, the time will definitely fly because you’ll be having too much fun!
Below you’ll see the fabulous stops we made along our journey!
One of the first places you’ll be introduced to is the Library

- Beautiful building with a horrible memory for us SATC fans. This is where Mr.Big couldn’t bring himself to get out of the car! Like seriously. We all knew it was too good to be true at that specific moment. But as we learn in the movie, love does prevail.
- One interesting thing I did learn were the Lion’s names. Those two beautiful statues are named Patience and Fortitude
Once you forget about what happened at the library, you’ll continue down 5th Ave and drive by 29th Street and will have to take notice of the “The Little Church Around the Corner” or real name “The Church of Transfiguration”. This is where Samantha was starting to feel a little bit more holier than usually thanks to the hot priest.
After you confessed your sins, you’ll be able to face the face girl at Cowgirl at west 10th and Hudson. We all know we may have our own Nina Katz. Let’s just hope she doesn’t show up there!
Before you head off to your fabulous rehearsal dinner, stop by City Bakery. You may also run into the face girl again like Carrie did with Samantha. “Okay, one more time, and you are officially stalking me”. Bright side, this month they highlight a different flavor of hot chocolate every day!! That’s worth the trip.
Once we’ve gathered ourselves back to reality, it’s time to head to Buddakan. This place is gorgeous! No wonder Carrie and Big decided to hold their rehearsal dinner here. In reality, it’s also a place to be seen and have fun. I highly suggest checking it out.
On your way “home”, stop by Scout, aka. O’Nieals on Grand Street in SoHo, to have some fabulous Cosmos.
And when you’re ready to head out, you’ll be able to sit at your laptop and write about how you may have run into the face girl, but it was all okay because you know you have your girlfriends, delicious cosmos to devour and the love of your life. Carrie may have been our single girl forever, but she taught us that NYC can be anyone’s and everyone’s love.
If you ever get the chance to take this tour, do it!!! I loved it. My tour guide Stacy was hilarious, knew the crowd and had fun with us.

Enjoy!!
