Coats are having a moment this season, and so are boots! If you walk into any department or retail store, you will see all styles of boots every where. It can be very overwhelming, confusing and exciting all at the same time. If I could spend all of my money on shoes/boots, I would (along with handbags).
To help you along your shopping days, here are the top 5 boots you should have this fall and winter.
1. Boho Boot
I have to say I just bought mine the other day and I love them!! They are perfect with skinny jeans, leggings or even with a cute dress. And the best part is, you do not have to break the bank on these!
2. Knee High Boot
My knee high boots are one of my favorite boots to wear. I have two pairs, one pair that is a riding boot and another pair that has a gorgeous high heel. With two pairs of boots I have spent money on them, however they will last me at least 3 “winters” if not more. These are the boots you want to take good care of. If you can’t and/or don’t want to spend a good amount of money, you can still find a great pair for under $100.
Bussola ‘Liv’ Modern Tall Boot $194.95
Nine West Retta Boot $89.95
These boots are a must this season. Perfect shaft and heel height and they look great in any color. The pair that I have are so comfortable that I wish I could wear them every day. They look great with jeans or leggings. My mom just bought this pair and she absolutely loves them! (So do I, but I already have my pair from last year that look just like them!)
Style & Co. Baxten Bootie
79.50 $69.99 (until 11/11/15)
4. Black Bootie
I have two styles for this style bootie. I have one pair that have a wedge for a heel and another pair that have a skinny heel. The key to getting a comfortable pair, make sure there is a small platform on the front (you should apply that to every heel you buy). It will make your feet so much happier.
(ps. I just bought these and I LOVE them!)
5. Rain and Winter Boots
So if you’re like me, mother nature hits you pretty hard where you live. Last year we were slammed with cold rainy weather followed by snow storm after snow storm. I swear by my Michael Kors rain boots. I wore them through all of the harsh weather last year; however, I have decided this season that I also need to invest in a snow boot.
West Blvd Shoes | Mid Calf Rain Boot
(99.9% sure I’ll be buying these soon!)
Hope this helped you with your boot shopping!! If you take care of your boots like I do, these will last you a few winters and save you money in the long run.
