It’s Monday, another snow day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow (only highlight is the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl last night). Perfect excuse to just relax, light a fire and pick up a book. I know I have one that I’ve started and probably need to restart because it’s been so long since I’ve been able to pick it up and finish it.
Bustle (one of my favorite sites) wrote a great post about 11 Short Novels You Can Read in A (Snow)Day. I had no idea there were this many books that were short and of high interest! I know I will definitely be adding them to my list of books and wishing for another snow day so I can read them. (And if I don’t get to all of them, they most certainly be on my summer beach read list!)
Have you read any of the books on their list? Or do you have any short novel favorites?
I love reading on snow days! At this rate we’ll be doing a lot of reading! Ugh!
Lol I know!!! Thankfully these are nice and short and right up my alley. Loved seeing Breakfast at Tiffany’s on that list. I love the movie, but never read the book. Now I’ll definitely read it!
I read alot and I have not read one ha. I have enough time as I am caught in PA snow haha.. Ill look into them
hahah yea our winter isn’t even close to being done! I know I’ll be reading a lot of these within the next month or two.
I haven’t read any of these, but a few are definitely going on my list! And yes there’s nothing better than curling up with a good book when it’s snowing outside :). Thanks for sharing!
I have read one book on their list, The Great Gatsby. I don’t have any short novel favorites. I have never picked a book based on its length.
I don’t think I necessarily pick it based on length but sometimes I like a quick and enjoyable read.
