Now that I have one week down I can’t believe how good I am feeling!!! It amazes me how great clean eating and working out can make you feel.
I’m not going to lie, after day 2 I could barely walk, but it was a good pain. I missed that feeling! However, I couldn’t wait for Day 4- Pilates Fix and Day 7-Yoga Fix. I don’t care what people say about Pilates or Yoga not being a ‘workout’ per se. Let me tell you, I was sweating just as much, if not more, during Pilates Fix it was mind blowing. Plus, having been a dancer my whole life, whenever I can get a good stretch in, I’m there.
My eating habits were on point for the most part this. The only part I continue to struggle with is my purple container- fruits. I just don’t like them. *sigh* I honestly don’t know what to do about it. Something I may have to look into for the next two weeks and beyond. I had downloaded the 21Day Fit Tracker app on my phone, and I will say that was a huge help with logging in what I was eating. I highly suggest downloading it. It allows you to measure your body for when you start before and after. You track your containers as well as it tells you what workout is for that day.
I’ve also incorporated Shakeology into my diet this week. I had a good run with it last year and I felt great!! So when I decided to do it again, I knew the benefits were going to outweigh my indecisiveness to not stick with it. Not only does it have 16g of Protein, but it has a ton of vitamins and minerals that I may lack in my every day diet. My go to shake for the week was Vanilla Shakeology with milk, a teaspoon of dark chocolate chips and ice. Voila! Deliciousness!
Since it’s been in my diet for about 4 days now, I no longer feel sluggish mid-day and I feel healthy. It’s crazy to say I ‘feel’ different, but I do. I feel less bloated and I don’t have cravings as much as before. And for me, that’s worth it!
