Every year, hundreds of people make ‘resolutions’ to get fit, eat healthy, go to the gym, blah blah blah. Trust me I’ve been one of them. But let’s be honest, how many of us actually hold true to this ‘resolution’. I know I do well in the beginning of the year, but then life literally gets in the way.
I used to be one of those people who could go to the gym for 2 hours 5x a week!!! Who was I?! I’m lucky if I do something twice a week for 30 minutes now. But that is going to stop as of tomorrow.
Last year, I found a program that worked for me and believe it or not, my eating habits have stuck with me since then. This is the first thing in a long time that I feel like I can do and finish.
So here I am. Ready to tackle my first round of the 21Day Fix for the 2015 year. I did so well with it last year, but once I didn’t do anything after it, it was a wash. 2014 was a year that was very emotional and mentally draining. I feel like I know I should’ve been working out or doing something, especially because we know the health benefits of it all. But I also know, if you’re not ready, you’re not ready.
Well, today I am ready, willing and able. Tomorrow I will begin Day 1 and I am going to take you on this journey with me. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit. I’m hoping 21 days makes a habit, gets me fit (mentally and physically), and lose a little bit of weight.
