I’m a little behind, but determined to finish this mini December Blog Challenge. When asked to give the best piece of advice, I could probably write a book (I’ll keep it short and sweet today). I’ve also been known to give great advice but also known to not listen to myself.
Here’s one piece I would give:
The best piece of advice I would give someone is to just be you and no one else. If there’s anything I have learned in this second half of my life, is to be you. I couldn’t agree more with my friend and mentor’s, Mandy Hale, quote. When you’re you, the real you, you get to show the world the perfectly imperfect person that you are. And those that see you and appreciate you, will love every ounce of you. Good or bad. Mad or sad.
You will find out that the people who are meant to be in your life, one way or another, will take you for all that you are. And that’s what is important. You should never have to change who are for anyone, other than yourself.
