As I sat down to write tonight I turned to my trusty source, The Single Woman, for some quotes to help me with my new post. We all know I turn to her for inspiration, reality checks, advice, etc. (I swear she is me living in another state. We are way too similar.) However tonight, […]
Embrace your single’ness’
“Eventually all the pieces fall into place….until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason”~Carrie Today, just like any other day, I was scrolling through my Twitter feed and I stumbled upon The Single Woman‘s column. Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Every dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most votes/raises the most money, is named the local Man or Woman of the Year.
I got involved because I wanted to fundraise in honor of The Boy and Girl of the year, local children who are blood cancer survivors, as well as my Papa who has Myeloma and for my step-grandmother who had Leukemia. My efforts, with your help will support the discovery of blood cancer therapies and fund research to find cures.
All you have to do is just click on the link and it will bring you right to my page to donate. You can even host a mini event at work, something as simple as a dress down day~ where everyone can donate $5 to dress down for the day. We all know by Wednesday or Thursday we just can’t wait to put on our favorite jeans.
All proceeds go directly to LLS and every little bit goes a long way.
Thank you in advance for all of you who do decide to help!
xoxo

Ask Jake??
Last Friday, just as I was getting ready to sit on the couch and relax for a little bit after work, I noticed a package on the table. Now normally I would have thought this was strange because I live alone and would be a little panicky about how a package got there, but this […]
