Well let’s just say, I’ve dropped the ball, and not the midnight ball, on this blog challenge. One thing I know I’m going to do better in the next 24 hours, is have a better schedule of keeping up with my posts.
The last prompt for the December Blog Challenge is your New Year’s Wish.
Lately I’ve been seeing some people on social media posting memes poking fun about people who like to write about “new year. new me.” or “new year. new beginnings.”, etc. I hate to say it, but forget those people. Be proud of yourself for wanting to be a better you year after year. I am living proof that it works and I’m a better person because of it.
My 2016 New Year’s Wish for myself is to live a life that I feel financially stable, healthy, and authentically happy in.
Within the past week I’ve also read some articles that you should have ‘goals’ that are measurable, attainable, etc to help you reach them throughout the year. (Sounds a lot like my evaluation at work. Anyone else?! Ahhh)
I do know this, I plan on sitting down January 1st and listing some sort of action plan for myself in order to live this fabulous life in 2016.
Is it realistic? Yes.
Can I attain this life? Absolutely.
Will I look back on December 31, 2016 and say, “Look at this! I’ve had one hell of a year!!”? You betcha!!
Remember tomorrow night, as the clock strikes midnight, how far you have come since last New Year’s Eve. Remember all that you have accomplished, big or small. Be proud of any small feat you may have overcome. Every little step towards a better life for yourself is worth being proud of. Remember that, just because you didn’t completely fulfill all you wanted to do this past year, as a failure. When you wake up tomorrow, you will have been given another chance to get it done. A clean slate. A brand new book with blank pages, all ready for you to begin Page 1 of your 365 page book. You better make it one hell of a Best Seller!
What is your New Year’s Wish for 2016?
